Music plays when wound and blower works when batteries (not included) are installed. Please not that blower did not start immediately until I tapped on bottom motor cover. It started and worked well however motor does make noise at times. Globe base also shows a small amount of bubbling which I tried to document in photos. Styrofoam shows a great deal of wear and box did not survive storage.
