Disney 26755 Sleeping Beauty And Prince Wood Base Snow Globe Once Upon A Dream
Figures in globe are starting to slowly crack as shown in photos. Also appears majority of glitter is stuck to one side of globe as shown. No other flaws or discrepancies can be seen. Unit is in really well kept condition. Disney Sleeping Beauty Maleficent As Dragon & Prince Phillip Snow Globe. 2003
Release Date: August 11, 2003 Hand-painted sculpted resin statue of Maleficent as Dragon inspired by her appearance in Walt Disney’s Sleeping Beauty animated film (1959), towering above and breathing fire onto a snow globe containing iridescent glitter that swirls when the snow globe is shaken and featuring Prince Phillip rearing his mighty horse, Samson, facing off with Maleficent at the gates of King Stephan’s Castle surrounded by a Forest of Thorns. Maleficent’s eyes and flames are cast in a translucent yellow resin are supposed to light-up with a switch located under the base. I tested this and the eyes did not light up. The snow globe plays “Once Upon A Dream” while Prince Phillip and Samson move up and down, all activated with a wind-up key that is located on the underside of the base. I tested this and it functioned correctly with the music playing and the prince moving. I’ve tried to capture any damage in the pictures. The top spike of the dragon has broken off and there are 2 small chips I noticed. One on the right side and one on the front left. Otherwise it’s in good shape for being 20+ years old. This item is a vintage Disney Store Sleeping Beauty musical snow globe. It features Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip dancing inside a central glass dome, set against the backdrop of King Stefan’s castle. The base showcases detailed castle turrets sculpted from resin, with the three fairy godmothers-Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather-flying around the perimeter on glittery wind trails. Song Played: “Once Upon a Dream”. Mechanism: Mechanical wind-up music box located on the bottom. Materials: Glass globe, liquid-filled interior, and a hand-painted resin base. Release Era: Late 1990s to early 2000s, originally exclusive to the Disney Store.

The jester’s mandolin is broken. Both of the jester’s legs are broken. The broken pieces are included and could likely be repaired. One bluebird is missing its tail.
