Disney Mary Poppins Feed The Birds Commemorative Snow Globe of St. Plays “Feed The Birds”. Premiere Date August 27, 1964. By Richard M and Robert B Sherman. This is one of the rarest snowglobes in Disney history, often considered a holy grail among collectors; it is the Mary Poppins Commemorative Snowglobe featuring St. This snow globe is in very good condition (please see pictures). The snow globe stands on the mahogany base and is approximately 7″ in height and 4″ in diameter. It weighs 1 lb 14 ounces without the mahogany stand and 3 lbs with it. When you shake the globe, white “birds” flock around the cathedral. The music box is in working order and plays “Feed the Birds” when activated. For any collector, especially the Disney Collector, this is a must have rare collectible. As any collector knows, a rare collectible such as this should only continue to increase in value over the coming years. Please note I do not have the original box, the globe does come from a smoke-free home, and please ask any questions you need. Commemorative Snow globe of St. In scene 534, holding her magical snow globe of St. Pauls Cathedral in hand, Mary explains to the children about the bird woman who feeds the birds for tuppence a bag. Music: Feed the Birds. It plays the first verse Early each day to the steps of St. Pauls the little old bird woman comes. When you shake the globe, white birds flock around the cathedral. There is a 1-1/2 bubble at the top of the globe, which is characteristic of Disney snow globes in particular as they age. Doesnt have the bottom stand it sat on but it is still a rare and beautiful piece. Music box works great. This may be the rarest snowglobe Disney has ever produced. Scar and his Hyenas depicted under the globe with zazu held captive. Characters: Mufasa, Nala, Pumbaa, Rafiki, Scar, Simba, Timon, Zazu. Features: Cloud lights up. Music: Circle of Life. Size: 10.5 H. Flaws to note: pumbas back tusk seems to be missing. Rafiki has been touched up and repaired. All wire from figures in tact, but some of the paint had chipped away near hands and feet. Excellent touch up, please review pictures. I also note two scuffs to the clouds as shown in picture. Overall immaculate condition and restoration. Disney Ariel Little Mermaid Water Fountain Snow Globe Tested and it Works Great. Comes with Original Box and Styrofoam Packaging. The Lights work and the fountain pumps the water the effect is amazing! There are a few small chips, and a fish is broken off, but I’ll let you glue it back on.
