Here for your consideration is this wonderful highly collectible Cinderellas Castle featuring an hourglass shaped globe inspired by the 1950 Walt Disney Classic movie Cinderella. The hourglass globe is in the center of the castle featuring the stunning Cinderella in her beautiful blue gown. Admiring Prince Charming is on the flowered staircase raises his arm to her while the Fairy god mother with her magic potion approvingly looks on as the tower clock strikes 12. Over Cinderella in the top portion of the globe the glass slipper floats on a royal blue pillow highlighted by a LED light. The enchanted coach awaits her at the bottom of the staircase while the evil stepsisters Anastasia and Drizella take turns trying to squeeze into the glass slipper. Frustrated for her daughters lack of success Lady Tremaine watches them as Lucifer remains close by her side. This wonderful Disney Classic hourglass globe is highly detailed throughout from the flowers surrounding the sculpted base to the tails of the three 3 mice buddies sitting among the castle turrets on top of the globes castle. This beautiful sculptured resin piece is a large make a statement size measuring approximately 13 ½ inches by 7 ¾ across. On the bottom you will find the switch that lights up the LED lights accenting the castle that makes a wonderful night light for your princess or prince. The battery case is accessible there and a metal knob where you can wind the music box to hear the tune “So this is Love” This piece is in excellent condition with one slight exception, Lady Tremain appears to be missing her right hand {a common ailment} that is difficult to see unless looking closely. The god mother’s wand is also broken. This beautifully designed hourglass shaped globe was inspired by the 1950 Walt Disney Classic Cinderella. During production, small air bubbles may cling to the inside of the glass and the character insert when water is introduced and the globe is sealed. While such irregularities can sometimes be eliminated through a change in design or manufacturing, Disney’s efforts to eliminate air bubbles through various methods have so far been unsuccessful.
