Disney 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA Nautilus SNOW GLOBE 50th Anniversary COA RARE. Weighs almost 20 pounds, packaged! 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Nautilus with Viewport Water Globe with Green Giant Squid viewable through the center port. 50th Anniversary Mechanical Lighted Water Globe. A very impressive collectible. Extremely solid and heavy. Cast iron and glass. Released in the Spring of 2004. 12″ Tall X 11″ Wide. For the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney’s 1954 live-action classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Disney wanted to feature the film’s famous “Giant Squid” sequence within an elegant mechanical water globe diorama. A Nautilus monogrammed base, the legs of which are modeled after the shell stanchions of the submarine’s salon, supports a view port similar to that through which Captain Nemo surveys the wonders of his watery world. By turning the key at the back of the globe, a mysterious glow reveals the squid pushing against the glass. Disney THROUGH THE YEARS Musical Snowglobe Bookends SET IN BOX Vol 1 and 2 WORKS
This set was displayed for about a year – but has been stored for quite some time. Music plays and snowglobes switch on and circulate “snow”. Great shape with two minor issues. Alice’s bow is missing a tiny piece (if you color it black, you probably wouldn’t even notice) and Pumba’s one ear is missing. The bookends are so interesting and full of life that you really don’t even notice it unless you are REALLY looking. In original packaging – some wear to box. Disney Ariel Little Mermaid Water Fountain Snow Globe Tested and it Works Great. Comes with Original Box and Styrofoam Packaging. The Lights work and the fountain pumps the water the effect is amazing! There are a few small chips, and a fish is broken off, but I’ll let you glue it back on.
