This is a beautiful and detailed Disney Catalog exclusive Snow Globe featuring Snow White with Dopey inside the globe, surrounded by the Seven Dwarfs and woodland animals. The scene is set in a vibrant, hand-painted base of flowers, trees, and greenery with two bluebirds perched on top. When wound, the musical movement plays “The Dwarfs’ Yodel Song” (by Larry Morey/Frank Churchill). The music box movement is made in Japan, known for high-quality craftsmanship. How it winds: Instead of a traditional key on the bottom, this model uses the middle tier where the dwarves and flowers are positioned as the winding mechanism. Simply hold the bottom base steady and gently turn the dwarf tier clockwise to wind the music. This is the intended design and works smoothly. It’s a substantial, heavy piece with a lot of intricate detail and vivid color. One dwarf (Doc, in the red shirt with glasses) is missing his arm. One of the bluebirds on the top tree is missing a wing. Otherwise in good condition with bright colors, no cracks in the globe, and glitter still swirls when shaken. This globe was produced in the late 1990s to early 2000s, based on the Disney Direct/Disney Catalog distribution tag and the Japanese musical movement. The product is a vintage collectible Disney Hercules musical snow globe that plays the song I Won’t Say. It is in near perfect condition with the exception of a couple minor paint wear (see pics).
