From what I can see, Shock’s head has been reglued and there is obviously both battery covers missing. The wind up music box does still work and Sandy claws appears to still move without any issues!! I know when I first bought, I did put batteries in and the pumpkins on the wall did light up. They may not light up now due to the age of the snowglobe – From what I can see from others posts, this is a common occurrence and isn’t abnormal for this piece. Reasonable offers won’t be turned down! Just a nurse trying to spread NBC happiness at reasonable prices?? THANK YOU!!

MIJ’sShop_second hand store. This is a snow globe that I bought about 20 years ago. I used to display it, but it was left in a dark place for about 10 years. The music box flows properly. Santa Claus has also been confirmed to work. The lamp has never been lit since I bought it, and the battery was still intact, so when I checked it, it didn’t light up. Although it has been cleaned, there are some parts that are quite small and hard to reach. In particular, I’m not sure about the back of the snow globe because I’m worried that the jack won’t break. Please take care of it again after purchasing. Zero’s adhesive is turning brown. The water in the snow globe itself is generally clean and the snow inside is clean, but the water level has decreased slightly. The neck of the shock has come off. The adhesive on Shock’s hat has also turned brown. The box is also quite old, so its overall condition is not very good. As you can see in the photo, there are scratches and multiple corners are damaged. Please check the detailed images. All items are listed in the product description/image. Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas “What’s This” Disney Snow Globe 1993. The nose of the dog is broken in the middle but is still held together by the wire. The necks of the two reindeer were previously broken. There are a few small scratches/scuffs on the front middle of the glass globe, unable to get on camera. Music plays well and snow twirls around while music is playing.

Before you remove the globe from the styrofoam, do yourself a favor and mark the foam box so that you know which way it closes back up. From experience this is one of the most common ways of breaking the figures. Never hold the globe by the figures as this will also cause breakage. Now a little more information on the globe. This was the very first Disney Store snow globe for Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas. There is a switch where the moon lights up illuminating Jack Skellington and Sally. The globe music box plays ” This Is Halloween” by Danny Elfman when wound. Other characters featured are: the Mayor, Lock, Stock, Barrel, Sandy Claws, Oogie Boogie, the black & red snake and Zero sits on top of the globe. Finding one in brand new condition is very rare. I have anther globe that is the same, but pre-owned. If you put the link in your search engine you can see pictures of what this globe will look like minus the broken, repaired figures.

This is perfect for any fan of Tim Burton. It is the rare Nightmare Before Christmas snow globe that light’s up and even plays a music box rendition of This Is Halloween. It is incredibly beautiful with the moon behind Jack and Sally illuminated. It comes with the original box, styrofoam, unopened batteries and cut tags. It was available at the Disney Store in the 90s but now has become rare, especially in good condition. This was in perfect condition until I took it out for the photos when I managed to do what it seems everyone does – knock the mayor’s hat off. I’ve puttied it together but it will need to be glued back on. The piece is about 8″ tall and 6″ wide. It is in full working order and has incredible detail in all the characters around the base as well as elsewhere on it. The glitter and bats float around when shaken too. The piece is made of resin with the globe out of glass. It was made in Japan. The box has some tears on the back (see pic) and a little wear but otherwise is in good shape.
