There is a light that can be turned on to illuminate the moon. The globe music box plays “This is Halloween” by Danny Elfman. The condition is good overall with minor wear from use. A break in the mayor’s and witches hat has been repaired.

RARE Disney “Nightmare Before Christmas” Pajama Jack In Bed Snow Globe, in its original box and packaging! Item has been in storage for several years and h. As never been displayed. The lights and music still work when batteries are installed. One of the creatures at the foot of the bed has a broken arm/neck and horn, which can easily be repaired. The broken horn piece is included. Box does have some minor wear due to age and storage. Please view photos carefully for more details. NOTE: This item is HEAVY over 15 pounds!

From what I can see, Shock’s head has been reglued and there is obviously both battery covers missing. The wind up music box does still work and Sandy claws appears to still move without any issues!! I know when I first bought, I did put batteries in and the pumpkins on the wall did light up. They may not light up now due to the age of the snowglobe – From what I can see from others posts, this is a common occurrence and isn’t abnormal for this piece. Reasonable offers won’t be turned down! Just a nurse trying to spread NBC happiness at reasonable prices?? THANK YOU!!

Before you remove the globe from the styrofoam, do yourself a favor and mark the foam box so that you know which way it closes back up. From experience this is one of the most common ways of breaking the figures. Never hold the globe by the figures as this will also cause breakage. Now a little more information on the globe. This was the very first Disney Store snow globe for Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas. There is a switch where the moon lights up illuminating Jack Skellington and Sally. The globe music box plays ” This Is Halloween” by Danny Elfman when wound. Other characters featured are: the Mayor, Lock, Stock, Barrel, Sandy Claws, Oogie Boogie, the black & red snake and Zero sits on top of the globe. Finding one in brand new condition is very rare. I have anther globe that is the same, but pre-owned. If you put the link in your search engine you can see pictures of what this globe will look like minus the broken, repaired figures.
