Walt Disney’s Mary Poppins Feed the Birds Cathedral Snow Globe Music Collectab. Condition is Pre-owned, good condition. What you are seeing in second photo is the birds that fly around the snow globe when shaken. They are small plastic pieces, probably about 300 of them. When shaken, the birds, air bubbles and glitter create stormy appearance, like the globe in the movie does as Mary Poppins shakes it. When displayed and sitting it is very clear with no marks in glass. Does not have black base piece. Disney Mary Poppins Feed The Birds SnowGlobe St. Paul’s Cathedral Very Rare
Disney Mary Poppins Feed The Birds Commemorative Snow Globe of St. Plays “Feed The Birds”. Premiere Date August 27, 1964. By Richard M and Robert B Sherman. This is one of the rarest snowglobes in Disney history, often considered a holy grail among collectors; it is the Mary Poppins Commemorative Snowglobe featuring St. This snow globe is in very good condition (please see pictures). The snow globe stands on the mahogany base and is approximately 7″ in height and 4″ in diameter. It weighs 1 lb 14 ounces without the mahogany stand and 3 lbs with it. When you shake the globe, white “birds” flock around the cathedral. The music box is in working order and plays “Feed the Birds” when activated. For any collector, especially the Disney Collector, this is a must have rare collectible. As any collector knows, a rare collectible such as this should only continue to increase in value over the coming years. Please note I do not have the original box, the globe does come from a smoke-free home, and please ask any questions you need.
