Disney Alice in Wonderland snow globe
One of our favorite Alice in Wonderland snowglobes. We bought it years ago in a pawn shop and it’s always been one most liked by guests. Alice grabs her paint brush to help the cards paint the roses red so the queen of hearts won’t raise a fuss and yell “OFF WITH THEIR HEAD”. The white rabbit comes running to the queen’s side with his bugle, the Mad Hatter and March Hair celebrate a very marry un-birthday at their mad tea party while Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum recite the “Walrus and the Carpenter or the Story of the Curious Oysters”. Their are a few imperfections we noticed over the years. The blower doesn’t work. The bottom of the backside of Alice’s dress seems to have white spots. Some areas appear to have been touched up including the backside of one of the card soldiers. Not for play but out for display, these imperfections didn’t concern us to much when we bought it. There aren’t any broken, cracked or missing pieces. The music box plays “Painting the Roses Red”. It’s going to be very hard to let go of this one. Disney Catalog LILO & STITCH Moving ROCKET RIDE SNOWGLOBE. The snow globe has never been displayed, and comes with original packaging. It’s a wonderful piece, but it’s time for Lilo and Stitch to fly to a new home where they will be displayed and loved. The music box works nicely, playing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and the motion mechanism moves smoothly. It is seriously tough to give up this amazing snowglobe! I’m in the process of decluttering, and thinning out my pop culture collection. I’ve decided to let go of some of my gems, many still sealed, to homes where they will hopefully be loved and used. I love snowglobes but honestly haven’t had a proper place to display them. As a result, they’ve sat in their original packaging in a closet since I got them. Bought new, opened to confirm it delivered intact, then kept in original packaging until I opened it again to take pictures. It’s in very nice shape, with only minor evidence of time passing. But that’s my opinion, and you may have different criteria. Disney Exclusive snow globe Jimminy Cricket when you wish upon a star RARE
This is an amazing snow globe! It has music, lights up, and has an automatic blower! It has since been retired and is a disney store exclusive from the early 2000s! Still brand new in the box with original styrofoam and packaging. It is a RARE AND RETIRED SNOW GLOBE! If you google this there is very little information other than collectors posting youtube videos and writing about it on forums. It is made to look like an old radio! The two dials enhance the snow globe! The knob on the left lights up the globe portion and projects the snowy effect while the right knob plays the song, When You Wish Upon A Star! In addition to that, the radio stations read 1928 (the year Mickey Mouse was created), 1937 (the release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), 1940 (the year Pinocchio was released), and 1953 (Peter Pan’s release year)!
